We are dedicated fourth generation farmers in Bundaberg, Queensland. Our families were original settlers to the area in the early 1870’s and in 1999 we purchased our current property and have continued to acquire neighbouring properties in the area. Steady growth and expansion over the years has resulted in our operation becoming one of the most efficient enterprises in the area.

The fresh clean sea air, mild climate and rich red volcanic soil makes our farm one of the world’s most ideal places to grow sweetpotatoes. We enjoy the challenge nature throws us each growing season and are passionate about growing crops to the best of our ability and always strive to produce a premium product.

Linda and Darren Zunker are dedicated fourth generation farmers in Bundaberg, Queensland. Their families were original settlers in the region, clearing virgin land for farming in the early 1870’s. In 1999 the Zunker’s purchased their current property and have continued to acquire neighbouring properties since then. Linda and Darren trade as Windhum Farms Pty Ltd and use the well-known label of ‘Bundaberg Gold’ to market their produce. Their properties are bordered by Windermere and Hummock Roads – hence the trading name of Windhum Farms. The enterprise specialises in the production of premium grade gold sweetpotatoes all year round. The Zunker’s take personal pride in providing customers with a safe, clean, fresh and outstanding product using world class sustainable practices.
